About Me.
Hi! Welcome to this 'creative forms of teaching evidence' portfolio. My name is Kathryn Coleman (most people call me Kate) and I am a Lecturer (Cloud Learning) and Project Manager at Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia. I have many years of experience teaching both secondary and higher art and design education and most recently I have been working in academic development. I am a HASTAC Scholar and PhD candidate at Melbourne Graduate School of Education. My research and digital thesis is titled Creativity, Artistic Identity, Digital Badges and Portfolios.
For many years, I have been investigating the integration of digital learning spaces, portfolios and peer and self-assessment in the artworld through research projects, book publications and presentations. I am an active Board member of the Association for Authentic, Experiential and Evidence Based Learning (AAEEBL) and Director of AAEEBL’s and Conference Committee Member. I created this teaching evidence portfolio for a workshop at VTAS PEN Creative Forms of Teaching Evidence on November 6, 2014. |
